Asphalt Paving

A lot is only as good as what is underneath it. Harrison Asphalt builds new lots and full replacements from the base up: excavation where it is needed, stone graded and compacted to carry real weight, and hot asphalt laid and rolled to a smooth, durable finish with clean edges and a properly matched apron.

What Asphalt Paving Includes

New parking lots and full replacements built on a properly prepared, compacted base for a smooth, durable finish.

Site evaluationThe project is measured in person, and what the existing surface and soil are doing gets checked before anything is priced.
Base preparationExcavation, grading, and compaction. The base determines how long the surface lasts, so it gets the most attention.
Grade and pitchThe surface is pitched so water runs off it instead of sitting on it.
Hot asphalt, properly rolledLaid at the right depth for the load, compacted to a tight, even finish with straight edges.

From Torn Out to Paved

Smaller lots are excavated, built, and paved in a single working day. You get a written price before anything is torn up, a scheduled paving day usually just days out, and a surface you can typically park on the next day. From estimate to finished pavement, most projects are completed within a week.

When Asphalt Paving Is the Right Call

A full paving makes sense when the old surface is beyond saving: widespread alligator cracking, sections that move underfoot, repeated patches that keep failing, or a base that was never built right. If your lot is not there yet, we will say so and quote the repair instead.

Asphalt Paving Questions

How long does a new lot take?

Paving itself is almost always one day. The full process, estimate to finished surface, is usually inside a week.

When can I use the new surface?

Typically the next day for parking. We will leave you simple care guidelines for the first few weeks while it cures to full strength.

What determines the price?

Size, the condition of the base, access, and the preparation the surface needs. That is why every quote follows an in-person measurement, in writing.

Do you replace concrete surfaces with asphalt?

Yes. We remove the old concrete, build the proper stone base, and pave new asphalt over it.
